Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Architect with expertise in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform. The role involves defining data requirements, designing scalable data architectures, and ensuring robust integration across applications. As a Subject Matter Expert, you will advise stakeholders, influence key architectural decisions, and mentor junior team members while shaping enterprise-level data strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Define data requirements and model application data structures.

Design data architecture, storage, and integration solutions aligned with business needs.

Act as Subject Matter Expert for data architecture, providing advisory support across teams.

Facilitate workshops and gather requirements from stakeholders.

Provide scalable, compliant, and high-performance data solutions.

Mentor and guide junior professionals in best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on key architectural decisions.

Must-Have Qualifications

Minimum 15 years of experience in data architecture, with significant expertise in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.

Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques and best practices.

Experience with cloud data storage and integration tools.

Familiarity with data governance, compliance standards, and security protocols.

Ability to design and implement end-to-end data pipelines.

Bachelor’s degree (15 years of full-time education required).

Nice-to-Have

Exposure to emerging big data and AI / ML technologies.

Experience in enterprise-level data governance frameworks.

Previous consulting or client-facing advisory experience.
