Role Overview
FDJ UNITED is seeking a Senior Remote Helpdesk Technician to join our global Corporate IT team. You will be the first point of contact for employees, ensuring a seamless IT experience. Responsibilities include resolving complex technical issues, managing identity-related challenges, configuring endpoints (Windows / macOS), supporting corporate IT systems, and delivering white-glove service to senior staff.
Key Responsibilities
General Helpdesk Support
- Expert-level support for laptops / desktops (Windows / macOS), including OS and VDI troubleshooting.
- AV system support in meeting rooms and Teams calls.
- Support for Office 365, Teams, Outlook, and related SaaS tools.
- Triage and resolve L1 / L2 security and IT tickets; escalate critical issues as needed.
- VPN and basic network troubleshooting for remote employees.
- Identity support : locked accounts, password resets, MFA issues.
- In-person support for Bangalore office : devices, peripherals, networking.
Endpoint, Identity & Asset Management
Manage endpoints via Microsoft Intune (enrollment, compliance, configuration).Use Intune & Autopilot for asset registration and zero-touch deployment.Maintain IT asset inventory using Jira Asset Management.Troubleshoot device compliance policies.Remote troubleshooting via Quick Assist, TeamViewer, AnyDesk, BeyondTrust.Exposure to Access Packages and Conditional Access policies is desirable.Ownership & Troubleshooting
Own problems end-to-end with a strong troubleshooting mindset.Escalate only after exhausting Helpdesk-level actions and documenting steps.Identify recurring issues and suggest process or automation improvements.Application & User Support
Support for Office365, Teams, and other SaaS applications.Manage application access requests securely and efficiently.Assist with onboarding / offboarding and user lifecycle automation.Maintain Teams integrations to enhance workflows.On-Call Coverage
Participate in weekly on-call rotation for 24 / 7 incident coverage.Handle after-hours calls during assigned week (nights / weekends).Process Optimization & Documentation
Define and maintain Jira workflows for ticket triage and self-service.Document troubleshooting steps and common issue resolutions.Create and maintain end-user documentation (How Tos, guides).Collaborate with IT operations to improve employee productivity.Review Helpdesk ticket trends for automation / self-service opportunities.Additional Responsibilities
Automate recurring tasks to reduce manual effort.Stay updated with latest tools and technologies to improve IT services.Requirements
Educational Background
Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.Core Competencies
Strong troubleshooting and problem ownership.Excellent communication in English (spoken and written).Balance of autonomy and team collaboration.Customer-oriented with high communication standards.SLA awareness and structured incident management.Experience
Extensive experience in remote IT support and endpoint management.Familiarity with Intune, Autopilot, Jira, and Confluence.Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.Experience with AV setups and Teams integrations.Hybrid support experience (remote + onsite).Technical Skills
L1–L2 support for Windows, macOS, iPhone, Android.Intune administration and device compliance.Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD.Ticketing systems : Jira, ServiceNow (Jira preferred).Basic VPN, network, and SaaS troubleshooting.Mobile Device Management concepts.Proficiency in Office365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint).Awareness of ITIL processes.Admin-level exposure to Jira Service Management (plus).Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Python) is a plus.Interpersonal Skills
Exceptional communication and empathy in support interactions.Proven ability to deliver white-glove service to senior staff and executives.Cultural & Language Proficiency
Strong understanding of European work culture.Fluent English (spoken and written).Certifications (Preferred)
MS-900, SC-900, MD-102, MS-102, ITIL Foundation.Skills Required
