Position : Senior Java Developer

Employment Type : Full-Time (Permanent)

Experience Required : 8+ Years

Location : Chennai (Hybrid)

We're seeking an experienced and driven Senior Java Developer to join our team on a long-term basis. This position will play a key role in delivering high-quality solutions for projects involving IoT, RFID, and barcode printing technologies. The right candidate will have deep expertise in Java , particularly with Spring Boot , Angular , and RESTful services , and should be comfortable designing and building scalable and maintainable applications in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and support enterprise-level Java applications using Spring Boot.
Design and implement REST APIs and scalable web services.
Diagnose and resolve performance issues across various applications.
Collaborate on software architecture and product design decisions.
Conduct peer code reviews and promote clean, readable code practices.
Keep up with industry advancements and integrate relevant trends into development work.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 8 years' experience in Java development roles.

Strong command of core Java, J2EE, JDBC, Servlets, JSP, and JavaFX.

In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and other Spring modules.

Practical experience building and consuming RESTful and SOAP web services.

Solid front-end development skills with Angular 16+, React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Hands-on experience with relational databases and writing optimized queries.

Familiarity with microservices architecture, Docker containers, and Kubernetes orchestration.

Understanding of Agile methodologies, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and best coding practices.

Preferred Experience

Background in barcode generation and scanning systems.

Experience with RFID encoding and scanning solutions.

Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
