Position Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Manager to oversee and optimize the production processes within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in electro-mechanical systems and demonstrate expertise in implementing and maintaining Lean manufacturing practices to drive operational efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities :

Manufacturing Operations :
Manage the day-to-day operations of the electro-mechanical production lines, ensuring on-time delivery, quality standards, and cost efficiency.
Oversee the assembly, testing, and inspection of electro-mechanical components and systems.
Lean Process Implementation :
Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of Lean manufacturing principles, such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Kanban.
Identify and eliminate waste in processes to improve productivity and efficiency.
Develop metrics and KPIs to measure and track the success of Lean initiatives.
Team Leadership :
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production staff, technicians, and supervisors.
Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular training to enhance the team&aposs skills in Lean methodologies and quality assurance.
Quality and Compliance :
Ensure that all products meet quality and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Strategic Planning :
Participate in the development of manufacturing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Optimize resource allocation, including labor, materials, and equipment, to achieve cost and efficiency targets.
Collaboration :
Work closely with engineering, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure seamless production operations.
Provide feedback to design teams to enhance manufacturability of products.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing management role, preferably in electro-mechanical production.

Proven expertise in Lean manufacturing principles, with a track record of successful implementation.

Strong knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, components, and production processes.

Proficiency in using ERP / MRP systems and manufacturing analytics tools.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 or similar certifications.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications :

Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher).

Experience with automation and Industry 4.0 technologies.

Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management processes.
