Here is the job description.

• Bachelor’s degree or similar
• 5+ years of active, hands-on, development experience.
• Design, develop, and implement APIs using IBM API Connect.
• Create and maintain API specifications and documentation.
• Manage API lifecycle, including versioning, deprecation, and retirement.
• Integrate APIs with backend services, databases, and third-party applications.
• Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to ensure seamless integration.
• Implement security best practices, including OAuth, API keys, and JWT.
• Ensure APIs comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Monitor API performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Optimize API performance for scalability and reliability.
• Develop comprehensive API documentation for internal and external use.
• Must have strong knowledge of JavaScript.
• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Good to have IBM API Connect certification.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
