About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable AWS infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS core services, automation tools, and DevOps practices to ensure secure, efficient, and cost-effective operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, deploy, and manage applications and services on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS / EKS, etc.).
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation .
- Manage and optimize networking, storage, and compute resources for cost and performance.
- Configure and maintain CI / CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting via CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config.
- Ensure cloud infrastructure meets security, compliance, and scalability requirements.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis for incidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate deployment and improve system reliability.
Required skills & Experience :
3+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS infrastructure .Strong understanding of AWS services : EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, Route 53, and EKS / ECS.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in AWS environments.Proficiency in Linux / Unix administration and network configuration .Knowledge of CI / CD and automation tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodeBuild, CodeDeploy).Scripting ability in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Prometheus).Strong understanding of cloud security principles and IAM best practices.Preferred qualifications :
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.Experience with serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB).Hands-on experience with Terraform or Ansible for infrastructure automation.Exposure to cost optimization and performance tuning within AWS.
