Job descriptionAct as a primary liaison between the School and the corporate world, securing industry partnerships, guest lectures, and placement / internship opportunities. Lead consulting assignments and Executive Education programs, providing income sharing as per university policy. Mentor and guide students in their career development and industry projects. Contribute to the School's visibility and brand building through industry-relevant white papers, workshops, and media appearances. Serve on institutional committees related to placements, curriculum review, and external affairs. Guide student projects (Master's level) and potentially co-guide Ph.D. scholars, focusing on applied, field-based research problems.
Role Summary
The Professor of Practice is a full-time, non-Ph.D. track position designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world business practice. The role focuses on leveraging extensive senior industry experience to enrich the student learning experience, guide practical research, and foster deep industry engagement for the School of Business.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Curriculum Development :
- Design and deliver practice-oriented, cutting-edge courses and modules for MBA, Executive Education, and MDPs (Management Development Programs).
- Integrate real-world case studies, simulations, and current industry trends into the curriculum.
- Contribute to the development of new interdisciplinary courses relevant to industry needs.
