Bhopal (On-site, Office Working)

Experience Required :

5+ Years

Education : BE / B Tech, MCA

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DR Site Executive (Linux)

with strong expertise in both

Linux and Windows servers

(50-50 environment) and prior

Data Centre experience

  • . The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and monitoring DR site operations, ensuring system reliability, data replication, and smooth DC-DR activities.

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and perform ongoing maintenance of servers and network equipment.
  • Monitor the performance of applications replicated from DC to DR.
  • Participate in

    • DC-DR drill activities

    and failback operations.

  • Coordinate with departments during disaster recovery to ensure smooth application operations.
  • Manage and maintain

    • DR site cloud infrastructure

  • Oversee DR site

    • asset management and upgradation

  • Prepare and submit reports as per defined timelines.
  • Experience in

    • Disaster Recovery Management (DRM)

    will be an added advantage.

  • Manage and maintain

    • Linux servers

    efficiently.

  • Provide IT support to staff and respond to server and network-related issues.
  • Ensure data protection by preventing overheating and other risks to data center components.
  • Perform hardware diagnostics and timely replacement of faulty components.
  • Monitor network processes to ensure smooth data flow.
  • Collaborate with software and network engineering teams to enhance cybersecurity and network performance.
  • Upgrade internal system components (CPUs, memory, hard drives, cables, etc.) as needed.
  • Maintain proper documentation and event logs.
  • Recommend and assist in the procurement of new data center equipment.
  • Stay updated with evolving trends and technologies in data center operations.

    • Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in

    • Computer Science

    Information Technology

    , or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience

    • in Data Centre Operations or similar roles.

  • Hands-on experience with

    • Linux and Windows Servers

    environment).

  • Data Center experience

    • is highly preferred.

  • Knowledge of

    • ITIL processes

  • Certifications such as

    • Azure / CCNA / CCNP

    will be an added advantage.

  • Strong understanding of server, network, and data center environments.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation abilities.
  • Ability and willingness to respond to network / server issues after office hours when required.
