Job Summary
The Unified Communications Engineering team is looking for an enthusiastic Devops engineer with a passion for building and optimizing secure, reliable, scalable, and robust applications. As a DevOps Engineer, the candidate should provide technical expertise in deploying applications to the private and public cloud and enhance CICD pipeline. You will need to have knowledge in docker containerization, deploying, scaling services in Kubernetes and automating deployments of Golang applications and Python pipeline data engineering. You will be working in conjunction with the development and operations teams to build dashboards, alerts using Grafana, Prometheus and ELK, and support infrastructure on Openstack environment. We welcome anyone who is self-motivated, enthusiastic, and eager to learn latest opensource technologies and can build quick prototypes, review, and collaborate with engineers located across US and India.

Responsibilities :
Design, build, and maintain CI / CD pipelines to deploy cloud native applications and services.
Design, deploy and manage scalable and fault tolerant infrastructure to be used by services and applications.
Deploy updates to applications, services and systems as required and implement integrations when needed .
Troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and production by working with others to solve the issues .
Work with lead onshore and offshore engineers to automate deployments and processes as needed to ensure accuracy and consistency .
Install and manage container orchestration software and repositories .
Works with CI / CD , source control , code scanning , observability , dashboards and alerting tools.
Monitor and analyze resource usage to recommend / develop enhancements to system capabilities and performance .
Works with team members to brainstorm on ways to improve processes, deployments, and tools.
Skillsets :
A minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience as a DevOps engineer
Work experience using DevOps toolchain and container orchestrations such as Kubernetes and Docker.
Experience with cloud platforms including Openstack (preferred) and AWS
Experience in building and operating scalable infrastructure stacks.
Experience in Linux systems administration.
Knowledge of deploying applications built on programming language or scripting language such as Golang, Python.
Experience with configuration management and automation tools like Ansible and Terraform .
Knowledge or understanding of using and maintaining CI / CD tools such as ArgoCD and Concourse.
Experience with monitoring and managing cloud resources, services and systems.
Experience with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk / Elastic Search, Alerta .
Ability to work with cross team members and take on complex tasks and resolve systems problems.
The ability to prioritize tasks and multitask as needed
Ability to communicate professionally and collegially with technical and management colleagues and team members
