As a Technology Support Engineer , you will be responsible for resolving incidents and problems across multiple business system components, ensuring operational stability. This includes creating and implementing Requests for Change (RFC) , collaborating with vendors and service management teams for issue analysis and resolution. Your role is critical in maintaining smooth operations and ensuring timely issue resolution.Roles & Responsibilities :
Subject Matter Expert (SME) : Expected to develop expertise in Splunk and become an SME within the team.Team Collaboration : Manage and guide the team to ensure high performance and successful issue resolution.Decision Making : Be responsible for making key decisions within the team and engage with multiple teams to contribute to broader decision-making processes.Problem-Solving : Provide solutions to issues both within the immediate team and across multiple teams.Troubleshooting : Implement effective troubleshooting strategies to resolve incidents and problems in a timely manner.Knowledge Base Maintenance : Update and maintain knowledge base articles for operational support, ensuring the team has access to accurate and up-to-date information.Vendor Collaboration : Work closely with vendors to resolve issues, ensuring timely and efficient solutions to business-critical problems.Professional & Technical Skills :
Must-Have Skills :
Proficiency in Splunk with extensive experience in its deployment, configuration, and administration.Strong understanding of Splunk Administration , including data analysis, management, and troubleshooting.Experience with data analysis and problem-solving , leveraging Splunk's capabilities to diagnose and resolve issues.Familiarity with IT service management processes , including incident and problem resolution.Knowledge of incident and problem resolution techniques , ensuring effective troubleshooting and issue resolution.Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Splunk , including hands-on administration, troubleshooting, and data analysis.Education : 15 years of full-time education is required (e.g., Bachelor's degree or equivalent).Location : This position is based at our Kolkata office .Skills Required
