About the Role

Join us in building brandmark.live, a comprehensive brand name research platform that validates brand names across 25+ platforms including domains, social media, package registries, and app marketplaces. You'll work across the full stack—building responsive web interfaces, implementing async API integrations, and creating AI-powered name generation systems.

What You'll Build

Frontend

  • Modern, mobile-responsive web interface with real-time availability checking
  • Interactive visualizations for brandability scoring and multi-platform results
  • WebSocket-based live updates and seamless user experiences

Backend

  • RESTful APIs with FastAPI for name checking, suggestions, and discovery
  • Async integrations with 25+ providers (domains, social platforms, package registries)
  • Intelligent caching with Redis and rate limiting systems

    • AI / LLM

  • OpenAI / Claude API integration for AI-powered brand name suggestions
  • Prompt engineering for brandable name generation
  • Similarity detection algorithms for discovering existing names

    • Tech Stack

  • Backend : Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis, async / await
  • Frontend : HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), responsive design
  • AI : OpenAI API, Claude API, similarity algorithms
  • Infrastructure : Docker, docker-compose, REST APIs
  • Integrations : 25+ providers (Instagram, GitHub, NPM, .com domains, etc.)

    • Required Skills

  • Strong Python 3.8+ and understanding of async programming
  • Web fundamentals : HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and HTTP
  • Git and collaborative development
  • Basic understanding of databases (SQL) and caching
  • Interest in LLMs and AI-powered applications
  • Ability to learn fast and work independently

    • Preferred

  • Currently pursuing CS / Software Engineering degree (Sophomore-Senior)
  • Portfolio with full-stack projects or open-source contributions
  • Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerization
  • Exposure to AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
  • Understanding of rate limiting and API integration patterns
