We’re expanding our global engineering team! If you have a strong background in IoT, Modbus, Edge Computing, and Embedded Systems, this is your chance to architect next-gen industrial solutions with us.

Role Description

This is a Freelance role for a Solution Architect at PTechSoft. The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and developing IoT solutions, integrating various systems, consulting with clients on business processes, and implementing software solutions. The role includes working with Modbus, C, and C++ for smart home and edge server applications. This is a hybrid role located in Bengaluru, with some work from home flexibility.

Architect scalable IoT & Edge solutions for industrial automation.
Design hardware and software for connected systems — including current sensors, ambient sensors, and energy-monitoring modules.
Collaborate on edge-to-cloud integration (MQTT, OPC-UA, Azure, AWS).
Drive performance, reliability, and scalability across Edge Server & Firmware layers.
Engage with global customers in the energy and industrial automation domains.

Qualification

Proven experience in Solution Architecture and Consulting.

Proficiency in Software Development and Integration.

Solid understanding of Business Processes with client-facing consulting ability.

Strong expertise in IoT solutions, Modbus, C, and C++.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.

Experience with Smart Home and Edge Server technologies is a plus.
