THE ROLE

Our team is growing! Our offshore team in India is vital to the successful delivery of projects internationally and we are now looking for another Software Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and development of software systems on behalf of our clients. You will be responsible for ensuring any assigned project work is delivered on time and to a high standard and play a key role in demonstrating software solutions to your team members and clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Supporting in the development of complex software systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.

Ensuring any solutions align with client requirements.

Contributing to discussions concerning solution design, working closely with Senior and Principal Developers.

Determining the structure and design of web pages, optimising for speed and scalability.

Maintaining high quality code with clear and comprehensive documentation

Participating in coding reviews and adhering to coding guidelines, identifying and resolving coding problems.

Implementing design patterns to support solution development.

Identifying and rectifying security weaknesses within project solutions, ensuring source code, configuration, and systems are kept secure.

Undertaking training courses as required, actively engaging with learning opportunities as and when they arise.

Participate in knowledge sharing with the wider development team, providing guidance to junior team members where appropriate.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, including project management, quality assurance, and operations, to ensure successful software delivery.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience operating within a senior or lead software engineering position.

Degree in computer science or related field

Experience in designing and developing RESTful API web services.

Experience in designing and developing Responsive web apps.

Understanding of key design principles.

Experience with object-oriented development.

Proficiency with the C# server-side language.

Proficiency with the .Net server-side framework.

Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.

Proficiency with TypeScript frameworks such as Angular, React.

Experience with responsive and adaptive design.

Proficient with Database technology such as MySQL, MS SQL Server, and MongoDB.

Proficient with Unit Test and Mocking frameworks such as NUnit, XUnit, Moq.

Proficient with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

Excellent verbal communication skills.

Good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
