Position : Senior Accountant – Vaaraahi Group (Food & Beverages)

Location : Gachibowli, Hyderabad

Experience : MBA Finance – 4 years | CA background – 2 years

Job Summary :

Vaaraahi Group is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee the company’s accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, statutory compliance, and hands-on experience in managing financial operations within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts through meticulous bookkeeping, ledger management, and account reconciliations.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable , ensuring timely payments and collections.
Prepare monthly P&L statements and comprehensive financial reports to support management decision-making.
Manage all banking operations , including payments, transfers, reconciliations, and cash flow tracking.
Prepare and file statutory returns such as GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other compliance-related filings within deadlines.
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff , providing guidance and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and company policies.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to contribute to strategic business planning.

Required Skills & Competencies :

Proficiency in Tally or similar accounting software.

Strong understanding of statutory compliance, accounting principles, and financial regulations .

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills .

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and lead a team effectively.
