Job description

Role- Senior Test Engineer

Location- Bangalore

Technical Skills (Must to have) :

  • Proficient in one of the programming languages (Java, Python)
  • Solid working knowledge of Automation Frameworks : Robot with Selenium web driver and Apache jmeter
  • Solid expertise in Linux and SQL DB(Oracle / MySql)
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Jira and X-Ray
  • Good exposure to Load runner, jMeter, curl loader and other performance tools
  • Exposure to security tools would be an added advantage (Burp, Nessus, Acunetix)
  • Knowledge in Software testing Life cycles and Software Development Life Cycle
  • Exposure on the Cloud testing deployments & applications - Dockers & Kubernetes

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Understanding the requirements and helping in formulating the test scenarios
  • Test Bed Preparation
  • Able to elicit technical specification and requirements independently
  • Adaptable
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and should be aligned to the sprint planning
  • RCA and defect trend analysis
  • Knowledge of Test estimation and testing techniques
  • User Requirement Understanding and proposing changes
  • Outside-in-perspective
  • Solution Validation Knowledge
