Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Administrator to join our team. This individual will manage, optimize, and secure our Snowflake environment in a production setting, leveraging Azure Cloud services and modern data practices. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with SQL and data modeling, and the ability to implement security and governance policies efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

Administer and maintain Snowflake in a production environment.

Implement and manage RBAC, RLS, and CLS policies in Snowflake.

Develop and optimize SQL queries, Snowflake scripts, and data models.

Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI / CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Azure DevOps.

Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory frameworks.

Document processes, issues, and resolutions; communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid, team-oriented environment.

Experience :

Total Experience : 5+ years

Relevant Experience : 5 years in Snowflake administration

Typical Day in this Role :

Monitor and manage Snowflake instances to ensure optimal performance.

Collaborate with data engineers and DevOps teams to implement new features and updates.

Write and optimize queries for reporting and analytics.

Implement and review security policies and access controls.

Troubleshoot production issues and provide solutions.

Participate in team meetings, documentation, and project planning.
