ROLE OVERVIEW
The Brand Manager will own GAJAB's entire brand strategy, creative direction, and marketing execution — from defining brand guidelines to launching viral campaigns, building social presence, and creating buzz that drives app downloads and transactions.
Target : Support 100 Cr GMV achievement, drive app downloads, create regional brand buzz across 2-3 cities in 4 states initially.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Building : Develop GAJAB's complete brand identity, guidelines, and positioning that resonates with tier 2 / 3 India. Build a brand that celebrates Indian bargaining culture.
Campaigns : Plan and execute 360-degree campaigns across digital, social, influencer, PR, and offline. Create viral moments — memes, reels, trends — that drive organic reach and app downloads. Content : Oversee all content and collaborate with in-house design and content teams. Ensure consistent, fun, localized brand voice across all touchpoints.
Social Media : Build GAJAB's presence on Instagram, Twitter, YouTube. Drive organic growth and engagement. Start guerrilla marketing on Medium, Quora, Reddit to seed positioning.
Influencer Marketing : Plan large-scale influencer meetups with 100-150 creators creating simultaneous buzz in regions. Create mass viral moments.
PR : Build PR strategy, secure media coverage, and position founders as thought leaders.
Team Building : Hire and lead 4-5 member marketing team across social media, performance marketing, and partnerships.
Analytics : Track app downloads, engagement, conversion. Balance brand building with performance metrics.
Budget : Manage ₹5L to ₹20-25L monthly marketing budgets and vendor relationships.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
After 3 Months : Pre-launch buzz created. 1-2 viral campaigns executed. 5-member team operational. First influencer meetup done.
After 6 Months : Brand established in 2-3 cities. Multiple viral moments. Strong organic social presence. Marketing contributing to GMV targets.
After 12 Months : GAJAB recognized as fun, relatable brand for tier 2 / 3 India. 100 Cr GMV supported. 8-10 member team executing autonomously.

COMPENSATION & WORK SETUP
Compensation : Competitive salary based on experience. Budget is not a constraint for exceptional talent.
Performance Bonus : Yes — tied to campaign success, downloads, engagement, and GMV.
Location : Marol, Andheri East, Mumbai
Work Mode : 5 days in office (Mon-Fri, 9 : 30 AM-6 : 30 PM), Saturdays WFH, 2 additional WFH days / month for health support
Leave Policy : 12 Festive Leaves + 18 Paid Leaves
Reporting to : Founder & Brand Marketing Head
Team : Work with in-house Design and Content Teams (already present)
Start Date : Immediate joiners preferred, can wait up to 30 days
