Senior System Engineer - Linux / Windows System Administration

Description : Role Overview :

The Senior System Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure system infrastructure.

This role requires deep technical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and performance of enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain system infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, or hybrid environments.
• Ensure high availability, performance, security, and scalability of systems and services.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Lead system upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning initiatives.
• Collaborate with application, network, security, and DevOps teams to support business applications.
• Automate system operations using scripting and configuration management tools.
• Implement and enforce security best practices, patching, and compliance standards.
• Create and maintain system documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior system engineers.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response when required.
