Job description

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible to for handling a team of 3 including lighting design engineer, estimation engineer, etc.
  • Provide design solutions for lighting at various verticals viz office, commercial, outdoor.
  • Preparation of BoQ, Lighting Layouts, submission of Commercial Proposals.
  • Provide techno-commercial comprehensive lighting design proposals as per agreed timelines with customer
  • Preparation of Technical Datasheets, as-built drawing, Handing Over Documents
  • Preparation of Technical Sign-Off documentation and ensure 100% accurate and timely sign-offs
  • Making Technical Presentations for Architects and Electrical Consultants.
  • Create & conduct impressive mock up presentation for all enquiries on time.
  • Evaluation of tender documents / enquiries and preparation of a competitive bid within the project deadline.
  • Carrying out lighting energy audits and provide payback calculations.
  • Maintaining good relationship with architects and electrical consultants.
  • Provide and track quality design solution as per service level agreement with Clients
  • Conduct product demonstrations at customer site using demo kits / mockups / catalogues.
  • Providing technical support to the production team and site services team at all stages of the project (Mockup, Supply and Installation)
  • Improve customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate business growth.
  • Attend client meeting on design and service matters.
  • Issue of Work Orders.
  • Validation of lighting design post installation

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS :

  • M.Tech in Illuminance Engineering OR B.Tech / B.E Electrical & Electronics Engineering
  • 6+ years' experience in Lighting Design
  • Experience with Lighting Design Software Dialux Evo / Dialux
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office
  • Knowledge of Technical Light Fixtures and Products
  • Experience in LED Lighting Industry preferred
  • Experience in Manufacturing and power electronics preferred
  • Should work collaboratively and constructively on each project with others on the team.
  • Should have good communication skills, be a self-starter, enthusiastic, self-motivated and passionate about their work.
