Job descriptionThe candidate must possess extensive experience in TEKLA modeling, along with deep technical expertise in the steel domain, preferably within power plant industries. Proven proficiency in Tekla Structures software, including skills in modeling, detailing, and clash detection. Hands-on experience in preparing fabrication, erection, and general arrangement (GA) drawings for steel structural members and miscellaneous structural components such as handrails, gratings, ladders, and cladding. Essential knowledge of SPR / SP3D and AutoCAD software. Ability to understand and interpret technical specifications and project requirements. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes related to power plant structures. Experience working within a Tekla-based workflow to detect and resolve clashes among structural, mechanical, and piping components using tools like SP3D. Collaborate effectively with civil, mechanical, piping, and electrical teams to ensure seamless integration of structural components into the overall plant design. Proactively identify and resolve potential clashes between various building systems within the 3D model. Maintain clear and effective communication with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders. Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and mechanical layouts. Self-motivated, a team player, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
