Oracle HCM Cloud Technical Consultant
Location : Hyd, BGLR
Key Responsibilities :
- HDL (HCM Data Loader) : Design and execute HDL templates for Rehire, Termination, Salary Loads, and Date of Record (DOR) changes.
- Manage effective dating scenarios and ensure data integrity during bulk loads.
- HCM Extracts & Integrations : Develop and maintain HCM Extracts for payroll, HR, and custom business requirements.
- Configure LoopBack and REST / SOAP integrations, ensuring secure and efficient data transfer with third-party systems.
- Implement incremental extracts and optimize performance for large-volume data.
- Reports & Analytics : Build and customize reports using BI Publisher, OTBI, and Agents for operational and analytical needs.
- Implement Bursting Models for automated distribution of reports (i.e., pay slips, letters).
- Ensure reports are optimized for performance and user experience.
- Fast Formulas : Develop and debug Fast Formulas for Payroll, Absence, and Extracts.
- Translate business rules into formula logic and validate results with end-users.
- Problem-Solving & Debugging : Analyze and resolve technical issues in HDL loads, reports, extracts, and integrations.
- Provide root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to address complex scenarios.
Required Skills & Experience :
Strong hands-on experience in Oracle HCM Cloud (Core HR, Payroll, Absence, Compensation, Benefits preferred).Expertise in :1. HDL (Rehire, Termination, Salary Load, DOR).
2. HCM Extracts & Integrations (LoopBack, REST, SOAP).
3. BI Publisher, OTBI, Agents, Bursting Models.
4. Fast Formulas (Payroll, Absence, Custom rules).
Ability to handle scenario-based debugging and troubleshooting.Strong SQL, XML, and XSLT knowledge for report development.Excellent communication skills and ability to work in client-facing roles(ref : hirist.tech)
