Presales Engineer - North America Shift

Job description3+ years in Presales, Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting , or related technical roles. Strong foundation in web technologies : HTML5, CSS3 (including Grid, Flexbox, and animations), and JavaScript (ES5, ES6+). Previous hands-on development experience or background in web / software development . A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred. Comfortable presenting to technical and non-technical audiences , including senior decision-makers. Ability to simplify and explain complex technical concepts in a clear, compelling way. Experience working with SaaS products or implementing enterprise software solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proactive, collaborative, and customer-centric approach to problem-solving. Willingness to travel for customer meetings, demos, or events (domestic and occasional international travel required). Understanding of SaaS business models and performance-focused platforms. Prior experience in digital adoption , user engagement platforms , or enterprise SaaS tools is a plus. We are looking for a stellar (Senior) Sales Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, India. The Sales Engineer will be the expert in Whatfix product(s). He / She will assist Sales in presenting the value proposition and benefits of the Whatfix solution to prospects.
What You’ll Do
- Build a strong understanding of the Whatfix product suite and stay up to date on competitive offerings.
- Partner with the sales team to deliver tailored product demonstrations , technical presentations , and proof-of-concepts (POCs) .
- Clearly communicate the value proposition and technical benefits of Whatfix solutions to diverse stakeholders.
- Lead the technical discovery process to understand client needs and map them to our platform capabilities.
- Support and respond to RFPs / RFIs with accurate and compelling technical content.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to align solutions with customer needs.
- Represent Whatfix at events such as conferences, webinars, and customer workshops .
- Capture and relay customer feedback to influence product direction.
- Provide consultative guidance throughout complex sales cycles, helping prospects envision successful outcomes.
