Job description
  • Electrical load analysis , understanding of standards
  • Sizing and selection of storage batteries, generators, alternators
  • Design of power system network including sizing of componenets based on load requirements and protection needs , single line diagram, circuit diagrams
  • Selection of switchgeras / protection devices based on rated current and short circuit capacity
  • Sizing and selection of cables based on current carrying capacity and voltage drop,derating factor, etc.
  • Load-flow and short-circuit analysis
  • Co-ordination studies of swutchgears e.g breakers, fuses, etc
  • Motor starting and variable frequency drives
  • Modeling and Simulation of PGD Network in MATLAB or any other software
  • Basics of electrical panel designing
  • Technical documentation, design reports
  • Expertise on Autocad and MS office

    • Skills Required

    Technical Documentation, motor starting , Single Line Diagram, Autocad, Ms Office, Variable Frequency Drives
