& Purchase Operations :
- Manage Purchase Requisitions and convert them into Purchase Orders based on sales and production requirements.
- Conduct supplier evaluations, manage quotations, and ensure competitive procurement.
- Maintain accurate costing for products and support strategic purchasing decisions.
Vendor Development & Negotiation :
Lead vendor negotiations on pricing, contracts, credit terms, and service levels.Build and maintain strong vendor relationships for long-term sourcing stability.Evaluate vendor performance and recommend improvements or alternatives.Inventory, Planning & Supply Chain Coordination :
Monitor stock levels, safety stock, reorder points, and consumption trends.Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and production teams to ensure smooth supply chain flow.Prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory through effective planning.Cost Control & Logistics Management :
Support cost optimization initiatives across purchasing and logistics functions.Coordinate transportation, freight management, and delivery timelines.Evaluate logistics costs and ensure cost-effective solutions.Compliance, Documentation & Audit Preparedness :
Ensure adherence to procurement SOPs and compliance guidelines.Support internal and external audits with proper documentation and reports.Ensure timely vendor bill processing and payments.Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Work closely with Finance, Production, Sales, and Warehouse teams to align procurement cycles.Drive timely follow-ups to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy.Qualifications & Desired MBA in Supply Chain, Operations, Materials Management, Procurement, or General Management (or relevant PG degree)
Engineering / Science background is a plus but not mandatory for MBA 2-5 years of relevant experience in :Purchase & ProcurementVendor ManagementSupply Chain CoordinationMaterial PlanningExperience in Home Appliances, Consumer Electronics, Manufacturing, or FMCG preferred.(ref : iimjobs.com)
