Job descriptionLead a team of Python developers and guide them through coding best practices. Design, develop, and review high-quality, production-grade Python code. Implement REST APIs, backend services, and microservices. Oversee end-to-end development lifecycle including coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring. Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers. Ensure continuous improvement in code robustness, performance, and reliability. Architect and deploy solutions on AWS / Azure / GCP (based on your stack — can customize). Integrate CI / CD pipelines using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. Work with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes / EKS). Implement secure and scalable data storage solutions using SQL and NoSQL. 10+ years of hands-on experience in Python development . Strong expertise in Django / Flask / FastAPI (customize based on your need). Solid understanding of software architecture , microservices, and distributed systems. Strong experience in API design , system integration, and scalability. Good understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong skills in PostgreSQL, MySQL , and optional MongoDB / Redis . Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI / CD pipelines . Excellent understanding of design patterns, system design principles, and clean coding standards . Experience with event-driven architecture , Kafka, RabbitMQ. Exposure to Big Data , Spark, or data engineering concepts. Knowledge of security best practices in distributed applications. Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams. Exposure to frontend frameworks (React / Angular) is a plus but not mandatory. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Python Developer with strong architectural and system design expertise. The ideal candidate will lead engineering teams, define architecture, drive best practices, and contribute to building highly scalable, secure, and high-performance software systems.
Key Responsibilities Architecture & Design
- Lead end-to-end architecture, technical design, and solution blueprinting for large-scale platforms.
- Define and implement scalable microservices-based architectures.
- Make strategic technology decisions on frameworks, design patterns, integrations, and performance optimization.
- Conduct architecture reviews, risk analysis, and ensure adherence to system design principles.
- Create technical documentation, high-level design (HLD), and low-level design (LLD).
