Job Summary
We are looking for a technically adept and proactive Senior Security Engineer with deep expertise in Azure cloud and network security. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for automation and a strong grasp of modern security frameworks and practices.
Responsibilities :
Design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructure on Azure.
Monitor and analyze network traffic for security threats and anomalies.
Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.
Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are embedded across development and operations.
Stay current with the latest security trends, threat intelligence, and technologies.
Drive the implementation of automation solutions to strengthen security posture , including automated threat detection, response workflows, and compliance checks.
Develop and maintain Azure Automation runbooks
for routine security operations and incident response.
Implement role-based access control (RBAC)
and enforce the principle of least privilege across cloud resources.
Secure hybrid environments
using Azure Hybrid Runbook Workers and Microsoft Entra ID-based authentication.
Ensure secure configuration of automation accounts,
network isolation, and identity management in line with Microsoft’s cloud security benchmarks
Lead initiatives to migrate legacy security configurations
(e.g., Run As accounts) to modern, identity-based models.
Participate in security incident response and root cause analysis and
recommend preventive measures.
Requirements :
Minimum of 9-10 years of
relevant experience
in security engineering or a related role.
Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and security features.
Experience with network security, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS / IPS, and SIEM tools.
Hands-on experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Azure Automation).
Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and Microsoft Cloud Security Benchmark.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., AZ-500, CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a must.
Experience as part of CISO team is essential.
