Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) Sales Head (Mumbai)

The Sales Head will lead the strategic sales initiatives for the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) division, driving revenue growth, client acquisition, and market expansion. This role demands a strong understanding of the EMS industry, B2B sales, and leadership capabilities to manage a high-performing sales team.

Responsibilities :

Strategic Planning & Execution :

Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with business goals.

Drive year-on-year revenue growth and profitability.

Oversee pan-India or global sales operations depending on scope.

Business Development :

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across industrial, IoT, automotive, defense, and consumer electronics sectors.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with OEMs and key clients.

Sales Operations :

Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis.

Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals.

Team Leadership :

Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team.

Set performance targets and monitor KPIs.

Client Engagement :

Conduct regular client visits and presentations.

Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms.

Ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery coordination.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

Work closely with marketing, production, engineering, and logistics teams.

Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics / Electrical preferred); MBA in Marketing is a plus.

Total Sales - 15 Years ++ (with min. 10+ years of experience in EMS or electronics manufacturing sales).

Proven track record in B2B sales and government liaisoning.

Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and sales forecasting.

Preferred Skills :

Deep understanding of EMS processes like PCBA, cable assembly, box build, etc.

Experience in managing large accounts and long sales cycles.

Familiarity with defense, aerospace, automotive, or industrial electronics sectors.
