Job Title: Private Cloud Engineer - Morpheus

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Engineer with experience with Cloud Management Portal to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will provide technical support to customers and assist with Morpheus Cloud Management portal installation, configuration, and maintenance.

The Morpheus Administrator should be familiar with the fundamentals of server virtualization, public and private cloud concepts, scripting, automation, and orchestration with an emphasis on optimizing hybrid IT infrastructure. Working with cutting-edge technologies will provide you the chance to learn important skills in automation, cloud engineering, and customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

Ø Manage, Administer and Troubleshoot VM/KVM Linux Guest OS.

Ø Manage, Administer and troubleshoot SQL DB issues.

Ø Handle, Manage and troubleshoot Morpheus APP and DB cluster

Ø Manage Internal/External Load Balancer.

Ø Handle different Morpheus Architectures, Single, 3node and Active/Passive and other architectures.

Ø Engage with customers through various communication channels to provide technical guidance and troubleshoot Morpheus-related issues including Upgrades

Ø Gather technical and business requirements from customers and partners to understand their needs and align company deliverables accordingly.

Ø Remain up-to-date on Morpheus and ecosystem technologies, adhering to company methods and procedures.

Ø Provide third-level troubleshooting support, analyzing and resolving complex technical problems.

Ø Support and contribute to the implementation of enterprise-scale solutions using emerging platforms and technologies.

Ø Deliver excellent customer service, responding to customer cases promptly and effectively.

Ø Contribute to ad hoc advisory tasks, occasional QA input, and pre-sales proof-of-concept (POC) support.

Ø Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes , customer satisfaction and Knowledge Trasfer.

Ø Qualifications:

Ø Basic understanding of technical architectures and the ability to logically troubleshoot environments.

Ø Familiarity with core compute, storage, virtualization, and networking concepts and devices.

Ø Experience or knowledge of public cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.

Ø Experience or knowledge of private cloud technologies such as VMware, Openstack, or Hyper-V is a plus.

Ø Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies, containers, configuration management, infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, and IT service management (ITSM) tools.

Ø Strong verbal communication skills, comfortable with presenting and speaking in front of an audience.

Ø Excellent listening and information-gathering skills, with the ability to document customer requirements accurately.

Ø Basic programming knowledge and experience with scripting languages like Python, Git, Bash, Ansible or PowerShell is a plus.

Ø Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Ø Ability to work well in a team, collaborating with users, sponsors, and stakeholders to address evolving needs.

Qualifications:

Ø Proven experience with Morpheus, AWS, or Azure.

Ø A thorough understanding of cloud computing principles and best practices.

Ø Basic programming knowledge and experience with scripting languages such as Python, Git, Bash, Ansible, and PowerShell is advantageous.

Ø Understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and tools, core compute, storage, virtualization, and networking concepts and devices.

Ø Understanding of cloud-based security protocols and best practices.

Ø Excellent problem-solving and logical troubleshooting skills.

Ø Effective verbal communication and collaboration skills

Ø Demonstrates excellent listening and information gathering skills, as well as the ability to accurately document customer requirements.

Ø Knowledge of the ITIL Framework, including incident, service request, change, and problem management.

Ø Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Ø Able to work in a 24x7x365 environment with a rotating shift.
