Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Automation Tester with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in designing and executing automated test scripts. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through modern automated testing frameworks, including Selenium and Playwright, and continuous integration pipelines.
Key Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as
Selenium ,
Playwright (JavaScript / TypeScript) ,
TestNG , or
JUnit .
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and manual QA testers to understand product requirements and develop robust automation strategies.
Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks, including Playwright implementations using JavaScript or TypeScript.
Perform regression testing and validate new features in active development sprints.
Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools like
JIRA
or
Bugzilla .
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Continuously assess testing processes and suggest improvements for better test coverage and efficiency.
Required Skills :
Minimum 2 years of experience in automation testing with tools such as
Selenium WebDriver ,
Playwright ,
TestNG , or
Cucumber .
Proficient in at least one of the following languages :
Java ,
Python , or
JavaScript
(with emphasis on JavaScript for Playwright).
Experience with version control systems like
Git .
Practical knowledge of CI / CD tools such as
Jenkins
or
GitLab CI .
Solid understanding of RESTful API testing using tools like
Postman
or
REST-assured .
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Preferred Skills :
Experience working with
BDD frameworks
like
Cucumber .
Exposure to
cloud platforms
such as
AWS
or
Azure .
Familiarity with
performance testing tools
like
JMeter .
ISTQB certification
or equivalent is a plus.
