Position - Senior Test Engineer & Test Engineer

Full Time Role

Location : Kolkata / Mumbai

We are looking for immediate 15 days joiner.

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Software Tester to serve as a key independent contributor to our quality assurance efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced test strategies and leveraging cutting-edge tools to enhance our testing processes. This role requires deep expertise in functional testing, a strong command of test automation, and an advanced understanding of AI-driven testing and prompt engineering.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the development of comprehensive test plans, and test cases for software projects.
  • Execute functional tests, both manual and automated, to validate software quality.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
  • Knowledge of the use of AI tools in testing (mandate skill), including crafting effective prompts for generating test data, test cases, and analyzing results.
  • Understanding of API testing, creating and managing comprehensive Postman collections and automating API tests (mandate).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality standards and ensure adherence throughout the SDLC.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all quality-related matters on assigned projects.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in JavaScript / Python, either of the 2 languages to build robust automation solutions and tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
  • Expertise in functional testing and test automation best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools for testing and a solid understanding of prompt engineering.
  • Experience with Postman for automated API testing.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and Python for test automation and scripting.
  • Good communication, and analytical skills.
