Business Overview

Candidates for this position should have 5-8 years of prior work experience within US financial markets including Fixed Income. A compelling interest in the financial markets and excellent written and oral communication skills are expected. A fast-paced and intense environment requires an aptitude for analyzing and interpreting complex information from multiple sources in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities Include

• Daily review of fixed income trading activity within Morgan Stanley Investment Solutions to ensure compliance with firm and industry standards .
• Daily review of Fixed Income Fair Pricing exception reports.
• Act in accordance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and report risk issues, including any compliance or suitability issues.
• Assist in the development of policies / procedures designed to ensure compliance with all industry / regulatory requirements.
• Maintain close working relationships with risk staff to ensure appropriate resolution of all issues related to the fixed income businesses.
• Coordinate with risk staff to create reports necessary to monitor daily trade activity within Morgan Stanley Investment Solutions.
