About the Role

Agivant is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake) to join our growing data team. You will be responsible for building and scaling robust, secure, and efficient data infrastructure to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to design and optimize modern ELT / ETL pipelines and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ELT / ETL data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient data models and pipelines.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines using Snowflake, ElasticSearch, AWS S3, and NFS.
  • Develop and maintain data warehouse schemas to support analytics and BI needs.
  • Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and automation to ensure data integrity.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data accessibility and usability for advanced analytics.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices in CI / CD, DevSecFinOps, and Agile / Scrum methodologies.
  • Contribute to the continuous enhancement of our data warehouse architecture.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer with a strong focus on ELT / ETL processes.
  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehousing technologies.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in building and maintaining Apache Airflow ETL pipelines.
  • 3+ years of professional Python experience for data manipulation and automation.
  • Working experience with ElasticSearch in data pipeline applications.
  • Strong SQL skills and expertise in data modeling techniques.
  • Solid understanding of AWS S3 and cloud-based data storage solutions.
  • Experience working with NFS and file storage systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.

    • Nice to Have :

  • Exposure to CI / CD pipelines, DevSecFinOps, or similar modern engineering practices.
  • Knowledge of modern data architecture patterns and real-time data streaming.
