Assistant Manager Finance Account

Position Description : Handling day-to-day finance and accounts operations including General Ledger, Reconciliations, Taxation, and support for audits under the supervision of the Manager.

Essential Qualifications : CA Inter / Postgraduate in Commerce (M. Com) from a recognized university.

Technical Qualifications / Experience : Technical know-how in MS Office Suite, VB, Power tools / Work experience in SAP or similar ERP is essential, Familiarity in accounting & reporting tools is preferred and basic understanding of accounting standards and taxation rules.

Experience : Minimum 5+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting, specifically in the Manufacturing Industry.

Work Schedule : Ability to work flexible schedule during day and weekends.

Job Responsibilities :

Handle day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, ledger postings, reconciliations (bank, vendor, intercompany), and fixed assets accounting.

Support monthly and annual closing processes by preparing schedules, reports, and accurate financial data.

Assist in statutory and internal audits by providing required documentation and resolving audit queries.

Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable tax requirements.

Prepare MIS reports and assist in variance analysis as directed by the Manager.

Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.

Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for smooth financial operations.

Actively support process improvement initiatives and team goals under the guidance of the Manager.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities required :

Strong foundational knowledge in accounting principles and journal entries

Good working knowledge of Income Tax, TDS, and GST

Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)

Good analytical and numerical skills

Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy

Ability to work independently on routine tasks and escalate issues appropriately

Strong team collaboration and communication skills

Ability to manage workload efficiently and meet deadlines
