Job Overview We are looking for a Junior Biomedical Technician to join our team at Spandana Hospital in Bangalore. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing biomedical equipment, ensuring all devices are functional and safe for patient use.

  • Qualifications and Skills Medical equipment maintenance (Mandatory skill), ensuring proper functioning and longevity of devices.
  • Troubleshooting skills (Mandatory skill) to quickly identify and resolve issues with biomedical equipment.
  • Biomedical instrumentation (Mandatory skill) knowledge to manage and repair a range of medical devices.
  • Proficiency in electronics repair to solve technical issues effectively and maintain equipment reliability.
  • Experience with calibration techniques to ensure precise and accurate device performance.
  • Capability in technical documentation to record and report maintenance activities and equipment status thoroughly.
  • Understanding of quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of equipment safety and performance.
  • Focus on patient safety by ensuring that all biomedical equipment is safe and ready for clinical use.
  • Roles and Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of all biomedical equipment.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and provide rapid solutions to technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to equipment, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the medical staff to ensure equipment meets clinical standards.
  • Monitor and uphold safety standards across all biomedical devices.
  • Assist in training healthcare personnel on the operation of biomedical equipment.
  • Participate in implementing quality control and assurance processes.
  • Stay updated with advancements in biomedical technology and integrate improvements.
