Job description

We're hiring a Web Developer to modernize our deployment, improve application reliability, and establish CI / CD practices for a legacy ASP Classic and .NET-based system currently deployed directly on customer premises.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze, stabilize, and improve a legacy ASP Classic / ASP.NET MVC application integrated with Rocket’s RedBack / UniVerse multivalue database.
Design and implement secure, reliable CI / CD pipelines and deployment workflows (IIS, Git-based flows, etc.).
Improve site security, manage configurations, and reduce error-prone manual deployments.
Collaborate with product owners and technical leads to map a path toward modernization while maintaining legacy compatibility.

Requirements

Experience with ASP Classic and ASP.NET (especially MVC) in production environments.

Familiarity with IIS, Windows-based hosting, and manual deployment constraints.

Experience or interest in Rocket / UniVerse multivalue databases (via RedBack) is a strong plus.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for interacting with U.S.-based stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and proactively recommend modern practices in a legacy-heavy environment.
