About the Role :
This role drives Finance Transformation initiatives within the Controllership function, focusing on process automation, internal controls, compliance, and financial reporting enhancements. The ideal candidate combines strong finance knowledge with hands on ERP / SAP expertise to deliver impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead Finance Transformation initiatives : Drive initiatives such as automation of manual accounting processes, strengthening internal controls, and improving financial close efficiency.
Innovation in Finance : Contribute ideas for improving financial processes, reporting accuracy, and compliance efficiency.
Financial Data Analysis & Validation : Review and validate financial data, derive insights, and prepare executive summaries for CFO-level discussions.
Reporting & Visualization : Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and presentations for Finance leadership to support decision-making.
Process & Control Design : Assess viability of proposed solutions, ensure adherence to internal control frameworks, and obtain signoffs from Finance leadership.
Risk & Compliance Management : Highlight risks impacting financial reporting and ensure mitigation strategies are in place.
Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with Finance teams across origins, Internal IT, and external consultants (Deloitte, KPMG) to ensure alignment with accounting standards and compliance requirements.
Support Testing & Implementation : Assist during UAT and hyper care phases for finance systems and process changes.
Skills required :
Hands-on experience in some ERM (preferably SAP).
Critical thinking, Strong analytical, Problem solving and presentation skills.
Strong Accounting background and practical understanding of business processes.
Proficiency in SAP [Fico, MM, GRC], Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Fair understanding of Audit & Internal Controls.
