Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in health informatics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Health Millennium (Cerner) Registration and Admissions module implementation, design, build, and / or direct support.
- Strong knowledge of patient access workflows, including registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and admissions processes in healthcare settings.
- Proficiency in Cerner core fundamentals, such as preference maintenance (prefmaint), privilege maintenance (privmaint), Discern Rules, etc
- Experience with EHR workflow assessments, system configuration, Go-Live support, and integration with third-party systems (., billing or insurance platforms).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to convey technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Flexibility to travel occasionally for client onsite support, participate in on-call, and availability for nights / weekends during implementations.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with Oracle Health Millennium’s broader platform, including integration of Scheduling with registration, clinical documentation, and ancillary modules.Familiarity with healthcare regulations in India (., NABH standards) and awareness of global patient access and scheduling best practices.Certification in Oracle Health (Cerner) Scheduling or Patient Access solutions, or related healthcare IT credentials.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative project environment, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a positive patient scheduling experience.Perform start-to-finish support of Oracle Health Millennium Scheduling modules, for both inpatient and outpatient, including appointment scheduling, medical necessity checks, appointment-based orders, block management, and resource management. Understand the impact to downstream workflows in registration, surgery pick lists and documentation, and so on.Provide direct support for system troubleshooting, issue resolution, and optimization of existing installations, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless integration with other EHR components.Conduct workflow assessments and collaborate with client stakeholders (., clinic front desk staff, surgery and procedure schedulers) to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.Manage scheduling impacts with system upgrades, releases, and enhancements, including testing, validation, and end-user training to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and clinical best practices.Facilitate stakeholder meetings, develop agendas, track action items, and document solutions to support Go-Live activities and post-implementation sustainment.Develop and maintain operational documentation (ITIL run books), including build standards, common troubleshooting resolution steps, governance requirements, policies, and procedures.Monitor system performance, generate reports using tools like LightsOn, and recommend optimizations to improve care delivery and revenue generation.Stay updated on scheduling Oracle Health updates, US regulatory requirements, and industry trends to advise on strategic system alignments.Career Level - IC2
