About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Trainee Associate to join our Content Department at LawSikho / Skill Arbitrage, a leading EdTech company. This role is designed for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about legal research, writing, and technology-driven education. The ideal candidate will have a legal background, strong analytical skills, and a drive to excel in creating high-quality content for legal tech training and education programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research on various legal tech topics, including privacy, cybersecurity, AI ethics, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread legal content for online courses, study materials, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging and accurate content.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends and developments in the field of legal tech and incorporate them into content.
  • Assist in the development of new courses and training materials to address industry needs.
  • Review and adapt content to meet the needs of learners across jurisdictions.
  • Participate in team meetings to contribute innovative ideas for content improvement.
  • Take initiative in upskilling and contributing to the growth of the department.

The compensation offered would be 15-20k on a monthly basis.

Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications :
  • Completed a Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognised university or about to complete a Bachelor’s degree in 2026
  • An LLM in a relevant field about to complete a Master’s degree in 2026 (e.g., Cybersecurity Law, Data Privacy, Technology Law) is highly preferred.
  • Skills and Competencies :
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
  • Confident verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Attributes :
  • Passion for legal tech and content development.
  • Motivation to learn and adapt to new trends and technologies.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
  • Commitment to taking this role to the next level and contributing to the department’s growth.

    • Good to Have

  • Experience or internships in legal content creation, edtech, or legal tech.
  • Certifications in legal tech, data privacy, or related fields (preferred)
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and content management systems.
