This is a permanent, full time and remote role, working from home with the occasional opportunity to attend our office in Chennai.

As a Full Stack Developer at Verra Mobility in India you will demonstrate :

• Agile Development Excellence : Thrive in an agile environment, ensuring all functionalities are meticulously designed, developed, tested, and delivered according to specified requirements, fostering a dynamic and efficient workflow.
• Java Application and API Mastery : Leverage extensive expertise in Java and API development to architect robust, scalable solutions, driving innovation and efficiency in application development.
• Strong Foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms : Apply a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms to craft efficient and optimized code, enhancing performance and scalability across projects.
• Database Design Proficiency : Demonstrate adeptness in database design and SQL, facilitating seamless data management and retrieval, ensuring reliability and integrity across the application ecosystem.
• AWS Cloud Expertise : Utilize comprehensive experience with AWS to deploy, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure components, leveraging EC2, EMR, S3, API, IAM, VPC, Serverless components, AWS gateway, RDS (SQL, NOSQL) to drive scalability and reliability.
• Quality Assurance Leadership : Lead the charge in maintaining coding standards through active participation in code reviews, while developing and implementing comprehensive test plans and automated test cases, ensuring superior code quality and robustness.
• CI / CD Mastery : Spearhead the implementation of CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, streamlining release management processes, and integrating automated testing to ensure consistently high-quality builds and deployments.

Who are you?

An experienced & suitable Full Stack Developer candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Java Technologies. You excel in SOLID design principles, unit testing (preferably TDD), and thrive in Agile SCRUM environments, adept with Git Version Control. Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills complement their architecture, design, and troubleshooting prowess. Additional strengths include at least 5 years of cloud technology experience (preferably AWS), CI / CD pipeline building, familiarity with Azure DevOps, ReactJS (5 years), and Kafka (2 years).
