Research Assistant - Battery Materials

We are looking for enthusiastic Research Assistant - Battery Materials to join our multidisciplinary team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research in materials science and electrochemistry, with a focus on real-world applications of energy storage solutions.

As a Research Assistant, you will play a key role in experimental research, materials characterization, and the development of next-generation battery technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in designing and conducting experiments related to rechargeable battery materials.

Explore and optimize materials for enhanced energy density, safety, and longevity.

Perform battery fabrication, assembly, and performance testing.

Conduct physical, chemical, structural, and electrochemical characterizations using advanced techniques such as XRD, SEM, TEM, Raman spectroscopy, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS).

Analyze data to assess material properties, identify trends, and draw actionable conclusions.

Maintain detailed and organized records of experimental methods, data, and outcomes.

Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external audiences.

Work closely with senior researchers and other team members to achieve project objectives.

Tackle research challenges with innovative approaches and solutions.

Stay updated on the latest advancements in rechargeable battery technology, materials science, and related fields.

Requirements

M.Tech / M.Sc. (or equivalent) in Materials Science, Electrochemistry, Chemistry, Nanotechnology, or a related field.

Hands-on experience or thesis work focused on rechargeable batteries.

Proficiency in techniques for physical, chemical, and electrochemical characterization.

Familiarity with battery design, assembly, and testing.

Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex research challenges.

Strong organizational and communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.

Application Process :

On receipt of application, the HR Team shall send a simple quick questionnaire to move forward to the evaluation process.

There will be a Personal Interview and skill test of shortlisted candidates post the evaluation of the questionnaire.

Selected candidates shall be intimated via mail directly by the HR Team and the orientation process will follow.

Post intimation and dispatch of offer letters, the on-boarding process will begin and job roles will be assigned.
