Job Objective
To enable implementation of standardized delivery, product engineering practices across product development, implementation and support projects; perform product release governance reviews / delivery risk reviews and process adherence checks participate in the sales cycle (RFI / RFP responses, proposal reviews)
Experience
12+ years of delivery excellence experience in a software services / software product development organization (primary requirement)
6+ years of proven implementation(dev / test) / support experience in a software services / software product development organization preferred
Experience in managing projects desirable
Knowledge and Experience in SDLC process & methodologies viz., agile (SAFe preferred) / waterfall, project management, ALM and development / test tools, Devops, process improvement techniques like Lean, emerging areas like SaaS
Experience in managing small cross functional and remote teams
Knowledge of business / project financials
Experience in managing change initiatives preferred.

Manage a team of delivery / product engineering excellence professionals
Strategize and plan delivery, release reviews to identify delivery risks and quality / productivity improvement opportunities
Work with delivery / engineering leadership to own / support programs to enable delivery risk mitigation / quality / productivity
Perform delivery excellence / release reviews to verify implementation of standard delivery and engineering practices
Work with Delivery / engineering teams to ensure that delivery conforms to schedules, milestones, quality and scope. Ensure governance mechanisms in place are functioning effectively
Identify delivery risks proactively and mitigations thereof, monitor the risks; minimize customer escalations and provisioning
Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality; work with the delivery teams to support initiatives in the areas of productivity and quality improvement
Develop and Standardize engineering, delivery and support processes
Lead process transformation programs in span
Benchmarking against other organizations and contextualize industry best practices to organization
Enterprise audits
Content creation and delivery of process training for a portfolio of accounts
Facilitate cross sharing of practices
Support implementation of improvement actions from customer feedback mechanisms
Carry our exec level reporting
Function SPOC during sales cycle
