Application Customization Specialist

Job descriptionWork on mobile / desktop front-ends (native / hybrid) as needed, ensuring accessible UI / UX. Develop backend logic or integrations in Azure environment using Python, JavaScript / Node.Js, C#, or other relevant languages. Work with databases : MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle Database; For financial / analytics applications : participate in configuration and support of Oracle Hyperion EPM / Oracle EPM systems and related data flows. Act as technical lead / senior analyst : guiding junior developers, reviewing code, overseeing application deployment, monitoring and support. Integrate COTS solutions with SharePoint, ASP.NET, Node.Js frameworks as required. Ensure adherence to security, compliance and best practices for enterprise applications. Collaborate with business stakeholders, accessibility specialists, UX teams, QA and DevOps to deliver inclusive and robust solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Customise, configure, integrate and support commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications for web, mobile and desktop usage.
- Ensure all applications meet accessibility standards : WCAG 2.0 / 2.1 Level A & AA, WAI-ARIA, Apple AA+ guidelines.
- Perform accessibility audits and testing using assistive-technologies such as VoiceOver (Mac / iOS), JAWS, NVDA, ChromeVox.
- Create and maintain Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates (VPATs) and documentation of accessibility compliance.
- Write front-end code (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) with accessibility as a first-class requirement;
ensure cross-browser and assistive-device compatibility.
