Key Responsibilities :

Develop, customize, and maintain Calypso scripts and modules (V15.2+).
Integrate Calypso with external systems such as Bloomberg SAPI, TOMS, Reuters Feed, and Deal Tracker.
Work closely with business analysts and traders to deliver functional and technical solutions for trading desks.
Enhance system performance and scalability using Java multithreading and optimized code design.
Implement and maintain risk management, P&L, and accounting setups in Calypso.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Calypso scripts, APIs, and configurations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment and support of trading systems.

Technical Skills : Must Have :

Strong expertise in Calypso architecture, APIs, and modules (V15.2+).

Hands-on programming experience in Java (1.7+), OOP concepts, Collections, and Multithreading.

Proficiency in Oracle PL / SQL for database development and integration.

Experience working with JBoss, Gradle, and Open API.

Integration experience with Bloomberg SAPI, TOMS, Reuters feed, and Deal Tracker.

Functional Knowledge :

Strong understanding of Fixed Income, FX Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives, and Credit Derivatives.

Exposure to ERS, VaR, Risk Management, P&L, and Accounting setup.

Nice to Have :

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines, Git / Gerrit, and Agile development.

Knowledge of financial regulations and trade compliance systems.

Preferred Qualities :

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in a fast-paced trading environment.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work with traders, analysts, and developers.

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
