Position Summary :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsive

SAP MDG AMS Support Consultant

to support ongoing operations for an existing SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) implementation. This role will focus on providing day-to-day support across

Material Master ,

Business Partner – Customer ,

Business Partner – Supplier , and

Finance

domains. The ideal candidate will be responsible for resolving support tickets, addressing user queries, and ensuring the stability and reliability of the MDG environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Monitor and manage

AMS support tickets

related to SAP MDG across Material, Business Partner (Customer & Supplier), and Finance domains.

Monitor and

address integration failures

like iDoc failures in the data replication from MDG to S4 or the connector between Ariba and MDG

Analyze and resolve

defects , configuration issues, and data inconsistencies in a timely and efficient manner.

Respond to

business user queries

regarding system behavior, data flow, and governance rules.

Collaborate with functional and technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.

Document issue resolutions, root cause analyses, and provide knowledge transfer to operational teams.

Participate in

functional testing

of defect fixes and minor enhancements to ensure system integrity.

Support change management processes by validating fixes in development and quality environments before production deployment.

Maintain a strong understanding of

MDG data models , workflows, and Data replication (DRF) with SAP S4 ERP system.

Required Qualifications :

3+ years of experience supporting

SAP MDG

in an AMS or production support role.

Experience with one or more of the data domains within MDG -

Material Master ,

Business Partner (Customer & Supplier)

or

Finance

domains.

Experience with

issue resolution ,

ticket management tools , and

functional testing .

Strong understanding of

data governance principles , MDG workflows, and UI behavior.

Ability to communicate effectively with business users and technical teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in the

Medical Devices or Life Sciences

industry.

Familiarity with

SAP S / 4HANA ,

BRF+ , and

Web Dynpro .

Exposure to

regulated environments

(e.g., GxP compliance).

SAP MDG certification is a plus.
