Role Description

PORT SERVICE ENGINEER

The job responsibilities for a Port Service Engineer include :

Providing technical support and service to ship owners and operators regarding marine chemical products.

Assisting with the application and optimization of water treatment and fuel treatment chemicals on vessels.

Coordinating with ship crews and port authorities to ensure proper chemical usage and compliance with environmental and safety standards.

Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to chemical treatments and onboard water systems.

Conducting inspections and monitoring the effectiveness of chemical treatments in port and onboard ships.

Supporting sales and distribution teams with technical expertise for customer queries and product demonstrations.

Ensuring adherence to ISO, IMO, and other regulatory certifications.

This position would require a strong background in marine engineering along with experience in marine operations and chemical applications as an add-on. Knowledge of marine regulatory standards and excellent communication skills would also be essential.
