Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

At CareerXperts Workforce Solutions , we’re looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join one of our reputed technology clients.

🎓 Qualification : B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA in Computer Science or related field

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality.
Identify, record, and track bugs through to resolution.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and enhance test coverage.
Participate in sprint planning and provide feedback on product design from a QA perspective.
Ensure all deliverables meet functional, performance, and security standards.

Required Skills :

Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect management .

Hands-on experience with manual testing and at least one automation tool (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or TestNG).

Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured .

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines , version control (Git) , and bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).

Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.

Preferred Skills :

Experience testing web and mobile applications .

Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies .

Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
