Job descriptionL2 : VLANs, xSTP, LACP, LLDP, VRRP, Mac learning, ARP, Q in Q L3 : OSPF, BGP, ISIS QOS 4-8 Experience in L2 & L3 Protocols testing Familiarity with traffic test equipment like ixia and Spirent. Ability to understand end to end regression testing work flow at technology area and platform / product level Having experience and capability in solving complex issues in testing. High quality debugging skills, ascertaining the reason for failure, distinguish between a SW bug or otherwise precisely. Test automation frameworks, tools and scripting languages is a must and preferably in Python, Robot framework. Strong analytical skills to debug and isolate problems. Aptitude to learn new technology quickly and adapt to new feature testing / new assignments faster. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Responsibilities include, test planning, test script execution, defect analysis & tracking, and script fixing and test reports. Good exposure in following technologies : Routing & switching architectures. L2 : VLANs, xSTP, LACP, LLDP, VRRP, Mac learning, ARP, Q in Q L3 : OSPF, BGP, ISIS QOS Firewalls & Policer ECMP & load balancing. Familiarity with traffic test equipment like ixia and Spirent. Complete assigned work in time to the satisfaction of the project manager. Work across different teams to solve problems Be able to perform design and Manual testing with minimum guidance Experience working on the Layer 2 and Layer 3 Technologies.
