Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for an Ignition SCADA Developer. The Ignition SCADA Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SCADA systems using Ignition by Inductive Automation. Day-to-day tasks include creating and modifying configurations, developing custom screens and modules, integrating with other systems, performing troubleshooting, and providing technical support and training to users.

Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA systems, particularly Ignition by Inductive Automation
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python
• Knowledge of databases and SQL
• Familiarity with IoT, cloud computing, and analytics
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience in one or more of the following industries is a plus : utilities, manufacturing, food & beverage, data centers, and facility management
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
