Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Food Technology, Chemistry , or Supply Chain Management . 5–10 years of procurement experience in nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or food supplements . Strong negotiation and analytical skills with hands-on vendor management experience. Proficiency in MS Excel / ERP systems (SAP, Tally, Oracle) preferred. Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi (spoken and written). Salary and Perks :
Role Overview :
The Procurement Specialist will manage end-to-end sourcing and procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, labels, and printed components for Aora’s nutraceutical range. The role demands strong negotiation, vendor management, and coordination skills , ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely availability of materials.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop Source raw materials – special extracts, active pharma ingredients, excipients and negotiate with suppliers for labels, bottles, cartons, and packaging materials .
- and maintain strong vendor relationships and conduct performance evaluations.
- Ensure all materials comply with FSSAI / GMP quality and documentation standards.
- Collaborate with Production, QA, Regulatory, and R&D teams for approvals and specifications.
- Track market trends, manage purchase orders, and ensure cost optimization.
