Job description

Objective :

  • To execute civil works of 765 / 400 kV Substation with required output, safety, and quality.
  • Ensure zero harm & adhere to all the processes

Experiences :

  • Minimum 5-12 years of experience in Substation Civil Works execution.
  • Knowledge of Prudent Industrial practices, CPWD & IS codes.
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills & multi-tasking ability.
  • High-level Self-Motivation and ability to motivate others

    • Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Ensure Contour survey, soil investigation as per Layout.  Plan & assess resource & machinery requirement.
  • Plan & track of Steel, Cements & other construction raw material for seamless progress.
  • Plan & foresee the drawings requirement for continued front at site. Review the approved foundation drawing and preparation / review BBS.
  • Implement SFQP – Lab approval, Source approval, RMC approval and support in implementing site material testing lab.
  • Follow up of routine frequency test and implementation of Standard Field Quality plan.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly planning respective to the L2 schedule and based on planning preparing workforce and material requirement details.
  • Basics knowledge about electrical clearance, electrical equipment used in Substations.
  • Monitor, manage & control the site.
  • Monitor Project, Coordinate with Sites & execute plans, Projects Supervision, Review of Civil Bills & follow ups. site surveys & reports. Material Reconciliation, Maintain all statutory compliances.
  • Liaison with local authorities for administrative approvals as per requirement.
  • Knowledge about assessment of land requirement for substation construction.
  • Check quality of raw material & workmanship at site.
  • Check bought out item MTC, sample collection for test.
  • Monitor day-to-day activities pertaining to quality in consultation with site in charge.
  • Maintain Daily and Monthly Progress Report of Project.
  • Review of the Drawings whether they are as per Contract, Tech. Specification or not.
  • Run RA bill monthly for company and contractor.
  • Check bar bending schedules and quantity estimations.
  • Witness of Cube tests and sieve analysis.

    • Educational Qualification : - BE / B. Tech / Diploma – Civil
